Most of our jewelry is made from .925 Sterling Silver, which is made up of 92.5% Silver and 7.5% other metals. Sterling Silver naturally tarnishes over time (unless stated that the item is Rhodium coated which protects it from tarnishing for 5-10 years) as the 7.5% other metals, such as Copper, react to the air. Perfumes, hair spray, hand gel, perspiration, etc., accelerate tarnishing. If your products do end up tarnishing, polish with a jewelry cloth and it should take off any or all tarnishing blemishes. Some tips - store the item in it's EIGHTY ARTICLES pouch or a jewelry box, separate from other items. Avoid contact with harsh chemicals such as household cleaners, medicated moisturizers, etc. For our 14k and 18k gold (and white gold), and well as lab diamond offerings, these are more delicate so we suggest to clean it regularly with warm water, mild dish soap, and a soft brush, then rinse and dry with a lint-free cloth; avoid harsh chemicals, lotions, and perfumes, and store pieces separately in a dry, airtight pouch to prevent scratches. Always remove jewelry before swimming, exercising, or applying beauty products to maintain its shine.
